COLABORACIÓN PÚBLICO PRIVADA 2021 (2022 – 2024)

This grant finances the project “Gelisome: a nanostructured formulation for healing of skin tissue”, which aims to obtain viable end formulas using the new hydrogel patents recently in-licensed by Bicosome.

The Project CPP2021-008954 is funded by MCIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union “NextGenerationEU”/PRTR”.

INDUSTRIAL DOCTORATES (2021 – 2024)

This grant aims to co-finance the contract of a PhD student who is incorporated to participate in a Bicosome industrial development project, which will be part of the student’s doctoral thesis.

Title: “Research and development of proofs of concept to validate Bicosome technology in the treatment of diseases that affect skin tissue”.

This project aims to develop different Bicosome formulations and demonstrate the potential of their applicability for the treatment of skin chronic diseases.

INNOTEC (2019 – 2021)

Title: “Design of a Bicosome® system incorporating a cocktail of compounds for the prevention and treatment of skin cancer”.

BICOSEL is a project in collaboration with the Research Group of Separation Techniques in Chemistry, GTS (Autonomous University of Barcelona).

This project aims to develop a POC for the prevention and treatment of pre-cancer, carcinogenic, melanoma, and non-melanoma lesions.

Title: “Development, combination, formulation and encapsulation of bioactives from microalgae for skincare”.

DIMASKIN project is a collaboration with the Spanish company Neoalgae and Ecofuel Labs from the Czech Republic for the development, formulation and encapsulation of bioactives from microalgae for skincare.

SME INSTRUMENT PHASE 2 – HORIZON 2020 (2016 – 2018)

Title: “Value Omega 3 and Astaxanthin products from Sea Algae”.

VOPSA is a project in collaboration with the Spanish company Neoalgae. In this project, Bicosome develops different skin delivery systems incorporating microalgae extracts considered superfoods for the prevention of ageing and treatment of inflammatory skin conditions.

TORRES QUEVEDO (PTQ) CONTRACT (2015 – 2018)

Bicosome has been granted two co-financed contracts to incorporate PhD researchers in its R&D team. The projects are related with the design, evaluation and technical viability of the Bicosome® technology for hair applications and to treat skin inflammatory conditions.

Bicosome has been granted a co-financed contract to incorporate a PhD researcher in its R&D team. The project is related with the design, evaluation and technical viability of the Bicosome® technology to treat hyperpigmented disorders.

Bicosome has been granted with the NEOTEC Program. NEOTEC aims to support the creation and consolidation of technology-based companies. NEOTEC finances the development of the business plan for two years.

ENISA YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS (2013)

Bicosome has been granted with funds from ENISA to support the startup phase. The funds should accelerate the proof of concept phase to show the viability of the company business model.
